Welcome to episode 181 of The PE Umbrella Podcast!

This week I am joined by Sports Broadcaster, Journalist and Presenter Jacqui Oatley. During this episode, we dive into the recent concerns that Jacqui has expressed over social media regarding PE in our children's primary schools.

Not only do we talk about how she entered this space, I seek to unpick some of the findings her questions have uncovered and the implications this may have in the PE sector moving forward. It was pleasing to chat so freely with Jacqui around the wider reach of PE too, and recognising the holistic benefits that a well planned and delivered curriculum can nurture.

In and amongst all of our PE discussion, I also had the opportunity to travel back in time and ask Jacqui about her journey into the world of sport, her own experiences and memories of PE and what has shaped her career trajectory.

This is an interview that you simply can not afford to miss!

Welcome to episode 179 of The PE Umbrella Podcast!

This week I am joined by former guests Jorge Rodriguez, Andy Vasily & Zack Smith as we form a roundtable discussion centred on this statement:

"The pedagogy behind creating meaningful experiences in PE"

With no script and plenty of experience between the guests, it went as expected. Pure fire!

I found myself taking notes aplenty and jumping in where possible as we particularly focused on what is suggested by 'meaningful' experiences before highlighting pedagogical approaches/strategies that can contribute to achieving this.

If you have your note pad ready, maybe go and grab a second one! What are you waiting for? Jump under the umbrella with us and join in the conversation by tweeting me @thepeumbrella.
